The first China Fenghuang International Photography Festival，Sponsored by China Photographers Association of Hunan Province, Xiangxi Tujia Autonomous Prefecture People's Government，was openned in 2012.

During the Festival, there were three Festival exhibited and 50000 domestic and foreign outstanding works,themes of "entered the ancient  Xiangxi village to explore the mysterious culture source ", a comprehensive display of the Xiangxi regional culture and the bright color rich folk customs.

Photographer Zhong Weixing's works "Peru·photographic travelogue Woodstock on the Summit" were displayed in the festival.
