Photographer Salgado hold a solo exhibition in Chengdu

In Jan 26th, Sabastiao Salgado, the famous documentary photographer, signed a cooperation agreement with Chengdu international photography and Cultural Exchange Association in Chengdu. Under the agreement, Salgado himself and his important works will be a major part of the 2018 Chengdu contemporary photography art park art exhibition.

 

The 71 year old Brazil photographer Sebastiao Salgado is the most important representative of the World documentary photography. His work has influenced generations of photographers. A Ph.D. in economics Salgado, at the age of 29 to give up superior work, became a French gamma and magnum photo agency reporter. His shot in a few years time focusing on "the most serious theme of mankind", war, disaster, hunger and poverty have been included in his documentary works in his form, his photos reveal those shocking interest of economists and vision, but really let us stay at port or orders for the soul and through history and through his photography giant article "Genesis", in which we live today the earth to find the origin of the world a magnificent reproduction.

 

This event determined that the important work of Salgado will serve as the main part in the 2018 Chengdu contemporary photography art park art gallery opening exhibition, then, the master himself will come to the scene, to communicate with the majority of photographers, common experience of master works behind the story. In addition to the Chengdu art and Contemporary Art Photography Museum Park signed a collection of works and the exhibition agreement, Salgado and Chengdu International Photography Cultural Exchange Association signed published works, the agent campaign and a series of agreements, and the friendly exchanges of photography culture.
